Theta Alpha was chartered in January 1951. 

Theta Alpha's service projects include the Concho Valley Home for Girls Children's Emergency Shelter, the San Angelo Boys/Girls Club, West Texas Rehab Center, Meals for the Elderly, House of Faith, and St. Jude Chidlren's Research Hospital.
